Martin Burge is a Culinary Institute of America trained chef, having spent the majority of his career in the New York City kitchens of Gotham Bar and Grill, Fresh, and Vento Trattoria, culminating his time in NYC with two years as Executive Chef at the Metropolitan Opera House.

Arpana Satyu-Burge graduated from the French Culinary Institute's Pastry Arts and International Bread Baking programs before working at NYC's Mesa Grill, Craft, Ilo, and Fiamma Osteria.  She also spent two years as Executive Pastry Chef at the Metropolitan Opera House.

After moving to the Atlanta area, we opened Dutch Monkey Doughnuts in 2009, to work together and continue our love of cooking. The Dutch is Dutch Monkey's ebullient little brother, conceived in 2019, frustratingly delayed throughout 2020 and finally opened in 2021.
